Svelte: Newly single Kerry Katona out and about in Warrington today Most girls rush to the ice cream and chocolate after a break-up but Kerry Katona seems to be keeping her resolve after splitting from her latest boyfriend.
The former Atomic Kitten singer was spotted out in her hometown of Warrington today, looking svelte in a monochrome outfit.
Katona, 29, showed off her new slimmer figure in black leggings, a grey tunic cinched in at the waist and a leather shrug-style jacket.
Her blonde hair tied up in a messy bun, she clutched a black patent handbag in one hand and dangled her car keys in the other.
She looked reminiscent of Olivia Newton-John as Sandy in her va-va-voom outfit at the end of the film Grease as she stepped out in Cheshire.
The only splash of colour was on her fingernails and toenails - which were painted a vibrant red.
Katona's mother Sue lives in Warrington - so presumably the mother-of-four, who was without her brood of children, was popping round to say hello.
Or perhaps she was visiting her recently ex-boyfriend Adam Waldron, 33 - a painter and decorator who also lives in the neighbourhood.
Katona and Waldron had enjoyed a whirlwind romance since May and even went on a romantic break together to Spain.
But last weekend, it emerged the couple had split and the celebrity was proclaiming she is happy to be single again.

The TV star has recently moved to Surrey to be closer to her agent, PR guru Claire Powell who has been credited with turning her life around.
Katona split from her second husband Mark Croft in February. The former cabbie has since admitted squandering away her millions on drugs, alcohol and expensive cars.
He is now said to be planning to write a tell-all book about the celebrity.
She was first married to ex-Westlife star Brian McFadden, with whom she had two children, Molly and Lily Sue. She had another girl, Heidi, and son Maxwell with Croft.
