Bestseller: Katie Price poses with a copy of her latest novel Paradise at the Plymouth branch of Waterstones

Katie Price brought chaos to the streets of Plymouth yesterday as hundreds of fans queued around the block for the chance to meet her.

The model jetted from London to Devon to sign copies of her latest novel Paradise at the Waterstones branch.

The 32-year-old, looked casual in a furry gilet, T-shirt and skinny jeans, was greeted by cheering fans as she made her way into the book shop for the hour-long signing.

She then sped away to Exeter for a second signing a few hours later in a branch of WHSmith.

Since launching the book two weeks ago, Paradise has been flying off the sales - despite Price openly admitted it was ghost-written by Rebecca Farnworth.

Price's latest tale is about glamour model and wannabe popstar, Angel Summer, who bagged herself a football player lover.

Only now, she's dumped him and moved to Hollywood to live with her new love, an American baseball player.

Despite feeling ill earlier in the week, Price was back to her chatty self as she met fans yesterday.

She wrote on her Twitter page on Wednesday: 'Me and Princess not feeling well today...

'Home in bed feeeeeel ill yuk... but I will still be at my signings Friday and Saturday.'

Price is expected in Weston-Super-Mare and Reading later today to do more signings.

Meanwhile, the model surprised fans when she pre-recorded an interview for the Michael Ball Show, when she said her dream job would be working as a criminal psychologist.

She said: 'I am fascinated by the human brain. A lot of people don’t know this but if I could have my dream job it would be going into prisons getting inside people’s minds to know what triggers them off.'
