Is that you, Cheryl? Danielle Lineker follows in the footsteps of Cole with a trendy new bob

Cheryl Cole is undoubtedly considered a style icon for young girls keen to look like the Girls Aloud singer.

But it seems celebrities are also influenced by the 27-year-old's trend choices, as Danielle Lineker showed yesterday when she stepped out with a trendy new bob which was incredibly similar to Cheryl's 'do.

Danielle, wife of football pundit Gary Lineker, was leaving the Guildhall Drama School in central London when she showed off her new style.

Wearing a casual T-shirt, skinny jeans and sandals, Danielle looked delighted with her new look as she enjoyed the sunshine with a female friend.

The 31-year-old had clearly decided to go for a trendier style by getting rid of her long, flowing hair favoured by WAGs throughout the country, and going for a more summery, lighter cut.

Danielle said recently that she has only recently learned to become more comfortable in her own skin, and she dresses in clothes which make her feel comfortable and sexy.
She said: 'My style is a mixture of cool, comfy and sexy, and I keep it simple with clean, flattering cuts that suit my hourglass shape.

I love to dress up to feel glamorous. Now I’m in the public eye, I’m more aware that there are paparazzi everywhere waiting for people to make a mistake.

'I know a lot more about what suits me and what looks best on camera.'

Danielle looked happy and relaxed as she stepped out in London following the broadcast of documentary Danielle Lineker: My New Stepfamily.

She is stepmother to Lineker’s four sons: George, 18, Harry, 17, Tobias, 14, and Angus, 13, as well as mother to daughter Ella.

Speaking about her relationship with the boys, Danielle said: 'It’s a massive shock to go from being a single mum on your own to having four teenage boys. It’s really nerve-racking.

'But getting married gives the kids the message that we’re in a proper relationship. I’m not just here for six months, then I might just b****r off tomorrow.

'They know that’s not going to happen.'
