For world-famous bachelor George Clooney, reaching a one-year anniversary with girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis might be seen as quite an achievement.
So it came as no surprise that the 49-year-old actor decided to mark the special occasion with a romantic cruise on Lake Como in Italy, attended by family and friends including Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber.
Clooney and Canalis, 31, looked relaxed and content as they sipped champagne on the vessel, showing no sign of stress following reports that Italian presenter Canalis has been named in a 'cocaine probe'.

According to statements leaked to Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera and La Repubblica newspaper she is alleged to have been seen snorting cocaine twice at a Milan nightspot The Club which is now under investigation.
A spokesman for SMI, Canalis's management agency said: 'We have no comment to make on this,' while prosecutor Di Maio did not return calls.
However, both Clooney and Canalis looked as though they were having the time of their lives as they laughed and joked with friends and family on the boat.
They were joined by Clooney's close friend, supermodel Cindy Crawford, who looked stunning in an turquoise silk maxi dress as she climbed on board with her husband Gerber.

Canalis and Clooney started dating last July, after they met in Rome following his split from former cocktail waitress Sarah Larson a year earlier.
However, despite reports the pair were planning to marry this weekend, Clooney, who has previously dated actress Renee Zellweger and TV presenter Lisa Snowdon, said recently he has no plans to wed again.
He was married once before to actress Talia Balsam for four years.
He explained: 'I have had long relationships with women and they get bored with me working all the time.
'My fear is that I would still make a lousy husband and I don’t want to put myself - or anyone else - through the pain of finding out.'

But despite Clooney's feelings about tying the knot once again, Canalis admitted she is thoroughly enjoying her new high profile lifestyle with Clooney, 49.
Earlier this year she told People.com that she enjoyed attending red carpet events with the star, adding 'I love it!'
However, she did say recently that she would like to walk down the aisle at some point, explaining: 'I am not the sort of girl who dreams of becoming a mother but I do believe in matrimony.
'Thanks to him, I have found serenity. There’s a change within me and it’s thanks to the person at my side.'
