A very visible bite: Miley Cyrus eats lunch on the side walk at Joans on Third in West Hollywood, California on Friday, October 8
Miley Cyrus added a new style accessory to her favourite short shorts getup yesterday, as she donned a huge peacock feather earring.
The teen star grabbed a bite to eat with a friend at the upmarket Joans On Third cafe in West Hollywood, California, completing her look with a tiny top, sunglasses and native American moccasin-style boots.
Sitting in prime position outside the eatery, the 17-year-old star was clearly in the mood to be seen as she whiled the afternoon away yesterday.

The singer has just released her new video for Who Owns My Heart, and will no doubt stir more controversy from her racy dance moves and barely-there wardrobe.
A scantily-clad Miley starts the clip by writhing in her underwear on a bed where she starts singing lines like ‘dancing on the floor with you…. I feel you pumping through my veins’.
The teenager then gets up to put her make-up and skimpy outfit on for a night at a club, despite being under-age and unable to drink alcohol.

The clip then skips to a scene in the back of a car, where Miss Cyrus is on her way to the club wearing barely-there hot pants.
She continues to sing while showing off her legs before finally arriving at the club to dance and grind with both men and women.
Her latest song explores Miley’s confusion over ‘who owns her heart’, and she clearly isn’t holding back her sexy image despite the criticism she’s received in the past.

Cyrus recently hit back at critics who don’t agree with her sexy profile though and told OK! Magazine this summer that if people don’t like her that’s their problem.
‘I don’t really listen to criticism because if you don’t want to watch my video you can always turn it off.
‘Or if you don’t want to listen to my music you don’t have to… So I’ve never been one to really care about what people think, because I’m the artist and that’s the art that I’m doing.’
Who Owns My Heart is the latest single to be released from her third studio album Can’t Be Tamed.
