Marriage breakups are awkward at the best of times.

But it looks like Christina Aguilera's split with Jordan Bratman is going to be an especially acrimonious one.

The singer has allegedly moved into a hotel after soon to be ex-husband Bratman refused to move out of their family home.

And the 29-year-old refuses to return until Bratman leaves.
A source told Hollywood Scoop: 'She's living out of a suitcase. Things have gotten tense between them.'

The singer was seen entering the SLA hotel in Los Angeles today, looking stunning in her white cardigan over a taupe bandage dress and red heels.

Aguilera filed for divorce this month after five years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

'It’s not easy and there have been a lot of tears and sadness,' the singer told Redbook magazine.

'On days when it feels impossible to even get out of bed, much less function as a mother, their support and encouragement have kept me moving forward.'

The singer has committed to keeping the reasons for the split between her and Jordan.
'Out of respect for my husband, I prefer to keep the specifics private. Right now, I’m just trying to figure out how to make it through each day,' she said.

However she is keeping her focus on what is most important.

'Thankfully, I have Max (her two-year-old son) to keep me on a sane path. His needs and happiness are my top priorities, and my biggest concern is to protect him and make him feel safe.'

Meanwhile, Christina has been taking her mind of her failed marriage by performing and partying.

The Genie in a Bottle star hit the stage at Justin Timberlake's charity concert in Las Vegas this past weekend.

And she even treated all her backup dancers and close friends to night at TAO nightclub, not leaving until 3am.

It was also revealed this week that the singer was reportedly taken to the emergency room of a Los Angeles hospital with a split lip days before the announcement of her divorce.

Aguilera was accompanied by her son and Bratman for the late night visit to Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

Nurses were told that the star 'fell down.'

'Christina was bleeding from her mouth and had a bit of a busted lip,' a source alleged.

Shortly after they arrived to Cedars, Christina's 'private surgeon' arrived to put a few stitches in her lip,' the source told website Radar Online.
