Make-up free Britney Spears slips into backless black dress as she takes son Jayden James to gym class

Britney Spears played the doting mother today as she took her youngest son to a play centre in Los Angeles.

The singer was dressed a little more glamorously than usual, opting for a backless black dress instead of her customary vest top and shorts.

However, the mother of two was not wearing a scrap of make-up and her hair looked in need of a comb.

Earlier today, Britney had met with a judge overseeing her conservatorship, explaining why the pop star had opted to wear something smarter than the norm.
No changes were made to the agreement with her father Jamie retaining control with attorneys over his daughter's personal and financial affairs.

Wearing her black dress and black boots, Spears was ushered into Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz's chambers by deputies.

Goetz later said in open court: 'We had a very nice conversation.'

She then said no changes were being made to the 28-year-old singer's conservatorship, which was established in February 2008 after Spears was involved in several high-profile incidents of erratic behaviour.

Following the morning meeting, Britney took son Jayden James, four, to the Gymboree Play Center where they attended a gym class.

Britney watched on as Jayden played, before handing him a carton of juice as they left. Her other son, Sean Preston, aged five, was not pictured.

Earlier in the week Britney was seen on American TV screens making a guest appearance on Glee, bring ratings for the musical comedy to a series high.

Britney looked stunning in a cheerleading outfit as she took a step back in time on an eagerly anticipated episode of the hit show.

And it seems Tuesdays US showing of the 'Britney' episode went down a hit, breaking ratings records for Glee.

According to data, Britney brought in 13.3 million viewers to FOX on Tuesday, a four per cent increase from the premiere and the highest rating ever for the show.

Spears tweeted: 'I loved it! Thank you guys SO much for making this happen!'

Kerry Katona is getting a little helping hand to keep herself svelte since losing weight in her new lifestyle regime.

The former Atomic Kitten star ditched the kebabs earlier this year, went to bootcamp then hired a personal trainer - leaving her a shadow of her former self.

But now she's been spotted leaving the Bodyline clinic in Stockport with her mum Sue after having skin tightening on her tummy.

However, following her pampering session, the mother of four headed to Bargain Booze and bought a bottle of German spirit Jägermeister - possibly not the best choice of drink to maintain her healthy glow.

The Bodyline Clinic offers a range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments including Botox injections, body sculpting, cellulite treatments and non-cosmetic face lifts.

The Mesolift - at £150 treatment - promises a more defined jawline and tighter skin and works by delivering vitamins, minerals and amino acids into the skin to help the production of collagen and stimulate the metabolism.

It gives patients the chance to target and tone specific areas of the body, including saggy arms and stomach, love handles and thighs.

A recommended six treatments cost £480 and again works by injecting vitamins into the skin.

Kerry, 30, seems to be spending all her time up north now, despite renting a property in Surrey as she bids to relaunch her career.

Warrington is the mother-of-four’s hometown and reports have often said that she’s eager to return to Cheshire after struggling to adjust to her new life in the south.
As well as losing weight at a boot camp and with a personal trainer, she's also had a makeover and a new sleek bobbed haircut.

She's likely to keep her slimline figure for a while yet too as she's due to start training for her appearance on Dancing On Ice, which kicks off in January.
