Party time! Avril Lavigne celebrated her 26th birthday with a pool party at Wet Republic at Las Vegas's MGM Grand... but didn't wear a bikiniAvril Lavigne doesn't seem like the shy and retiring type.
But for her 26th birthday she chose to celebrate in party town Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino’s Wet Republic pool.
However, for some reason she wasn't keen to strip off - preferring to keep her all-black outfit on.
Candy overload: The singer had a table full of multicoloured candy branded with her favourite skull and crossbonesThe punk-lite rocker posed with a table loaded with candy canes and other sweets, all branded with a very girly skull and crossbones.
And she looked overjoyed was the towering pink and blue cake which came courtesy of the Wet Republic, who hosted the bash.
The former wild child revealed a rather more domesticated side as she told People.com: 'I've always been obsessed with cooking. I can make anything.'

'I got some spatulas with skulls on them and some fun stuff for my kitchen,' she said of her birthday gifts.
'I swear to God, my family asked me what I wanted and I said I wanted a serving bowl and all these things for my kitchen.

The singer is known to show off her skills at dinner parties, she said, adding that British delicacy Yorkshire pudding is her 'speciality'.
Avril is working on her upcoming fourth album.
She has enlisted producer Alex Da Kid for her new record. The hitmaker worked on B.o.B.’s Airplanes and Eminem’s Love The Way You Lie.
