Robbie Williams forgets the words to his song Feel in front of thousands at Help For Heroes concert

By Daily Mail Reporter

Help me out here! A confused Robbie Williams forgot the words to Feel as he performed at the Help For Heroes concert on Sunday night

After spending the last few years in semi-retirement, it would be no surprise if Robbie Williams was feeling a little rusty ahead of last night's Help For Heroes concert.

And it seems his time away from the stage had an impact. The singer was forced to break off during his performance of Feel to check the lyrics.

An energetic Robbie stopped singing halfway through a line, half-mumbled the tune, then ran to the back of the stage to flick through a lyric book as 60,000 fans waited.

They shouted out the words, as Robbie returned to the front and laughed: ' I scared myself to death, thankyou.' He then carried on with the show.

But Robbie's devoted fans were sympathetic, taking to Twitter with their support.

A typical response was : 'I love how Robbie Williams forgot his own words. He styled it out well though!'

Time to check: After failing to remember the lyrics, Robbie turned his back on the audience and approached the drummer

Reminder: Robbie checked the words in a book on the floor

After his early hiccup Robbie welcomed his old friend and Take That bandmate to the stage as they performed together live for the first time in 15 years.

In a sign that their dark years were behind them, Williams, 36, and Barlow, 39, embraced on stage in front of fans.

The duo sang to 60,000 people, including Prince Harry, at Twickenham Stadium in south west London in aid of the Help For Heroes charity which supports members of the armed forces.
