The supermodel, who rarely makes any comment about her private life, has rubbished a report that she wed on the island of Sicily in front of close friends in late July.
A close source who works for Kate, 36, today told the Mail Online that she is 'definitely not married'.
'Any implication she is... is factually incorrect,' she added.
In a front page story today, The Daily Mirror claimed that Kate had married The Kills guitarist at a 'small, picturesque church' on the island of Sicily.
The report claimed that the bride went barefoot and wore a see-through dress and was joined by locals as well as close friends and daughter Lila Grace.
The Mirror quotes a source who says: 'Kate didn't want a stuffy, formal do, but something spiritual.
'Minutes after tying the knot, the giggling newlyweds were outside the church, dancing under trees.'
His and hers: The couple have been wearing these rings on their wedding fingers for some timeKate and Jamie did, in fact, spent two weeks travelling through Tuscany and the Aeolian Islands this summer.
During their break, the Mail published pictures of them wearing identical bands on their wedding ring fingers. They also had matching anchor tattoos etched on their wrists.
The couple, who have been dating since 2007, were still wearing the rings when they were seen leaving The Crow pub in Notting Hill yesterday, which appears to have added fuel to the wedding rumours.

The Mail Online reported in January 2009 that Kate was spotted wearing a ring - that looks remarkably similar to the one on her hand now - while out for dinner with Jamie and hairdresser friend James Brown.
The couple, who live together in North West London, are believed to have gotten engaged on her 36th birthday in January.
A friend told the Mail Online in August, 'Kate and Jamie are closer than ever. They aren't married yet, but it is very much a case of "watch this space".
After being introduced by Sadie Frost at a Kills gig in September 2007, friends say Jamie has been a stabling influence on Kate.

Miss Moss then found love with Mr Hack, but the couple split two years after the birth of Lila Grace.

The model soon entered into a damaging relationship with drug-addled rocker Pete Doherty after meeting him at her 31st birthday party in 2005.
It was during that romance that pictures were revealed that allegedly showed her snorting drugs.
In 2007, Doherty proclaimed that Miss Moss was his fiancée and the couple were believed to have secretly 'married' in a Buddhist ceremony on a beach in Thailand.
However, months later their rocky on-off relationship finally came to an end.
Russell Brand revealed in his new book that he bedded the model, and in May singer Courtney Love claimed that she and Kate had enjoyed an affair.
